Call of Dragons Behemoths Guide: Alliance Hunts and Why They Matter
Behemoths are giant creatures that alliances fight together in Call of Dragons. How behemoth hunts work, how to contribute and why they matter for alliance strength.
Call of DragonsBehemoths Guide Behemoths are the giant creatures that make Call of Dragons feel epic. They’re far too strong for one player, so alliances coordinate to take them down – and the rewards make it well worth the effort.
What behemoths are
- Massive PvE bosses that appear on the map.
- Fought through alliance rallies rather than solo marches.
- A key part of alliance progression and alliance competition.
Defeating behemoths can strengthen your alliance in ways that matter during later conflicts, so active alliances take them seriously.
How to contribute
You don’t need to be the strongest player to help:
- Join every behemoth rally your alliance starts.
- Send your strongest army with your best hero pair.
- Arrive on time – check the rally timer before sending.
- Follow your leaders’ instructions – they plan when and where to fight.
Preparing your army
| Preparation | Why |
|---|---|
| Heal all troops | Full armies deal more damage |
| Use PvE talents | Bonus damage against non-player targets |
| Equip a strong artifact | Extra damage over a long fight – see our artifacts guide |
| Use buffs | Attack and defence boosts make a real difference in rallies |
Why behemoths matter for the alliance
Behemoth hunts aren’t just about personal rewards. They:
- Strengthen the alliance as a whole.
- Build teamwork that pays off in later wars.
- Show which members are active, which helps leaders plan.
Behemoths vs darklings
| Darklings | Behemoths | |
|---|---|---|
| Scale | Solo or small rallies | Full alliance rallies |
| Difficulty | Low to medium | High |
| Main reward | Steady XP and items | Big rewards and alliance progress |
Start with darklings to learn rallies, then join behemoth hunts as soon as your alliance runs them.
Common mistakes
- Skipping hunts because your army feels small.
- Arriving late and missing the rally.
- Sending wounded troops.
- Ignoring alliance chat where hunts are announced.
Behemoths are where an alliance proves it can work together. Show up, contribute what you can and enjoy one of the most memorable parts of the game. More in our alliance guide.
