AFK Arena Bounty Board Guide: Which Quests to Take and When to Refresh

The Bounty Board is free daily loot. Here's how solo and team bounties work, which quests to prioritise and when refreshing with diamonds actually makes sense.

The Bounty Board is one of AFK Arena’s simplest systems: you send heroes on quests, wait, and collect the rewards. It takes seconds each day – and skipping it leaves a surprising amount of loot on the table.

How it works

  • Quests appear on the board with a reward, a duration and requirements.
  • Requirements usually ask for heroes of certain factions and a minimum star/rarity level.
  • Heroes sent on a quest can still be used everywhere else – they aren’t locked away.
  • There are solo bounties (one hero) and team bounties (several heroes).

Quest priority

PriorityReward typeWhy
1DiamondsThe most flexible currency in the game
2Hero cards / soulstonesDirect progress towards new heroes or ascensions
3Gold and Hero’s EssenceAlways useful for levelling
4Dust and minor itemsTake them if nothing better is available

Higher-rarity quests (indicated by the quest’s colour) give better rewards but often have tougher requirements.

Meeting requirements

Bounties ask for specific factions and rarities. That’s another reason to own at least a few heroes from every faction – even lower-rarity heroes can satisfy faction requirements on easy quests. See our factions guide.

Should you refresh with diamonds?

The board offers a limited number of refreshes. Using diamonds to refresh is rarely worth it for new players. Free refreshes are fine; paid refreshes only make sense if you’re hunting for diamond quests and know the trade is positive.

Daily routine

  1. Collect finished quests.
  2. Use “Dispatch all” (or assign manually for the best quests).
  3. Do the same for team bounties.
  4. Check back later if quests finish during the day.

Common mistakes

  • Forgetting team bounties – they’re often the most valuable.
  • Spending diamonds on refreshes for low-value quests.
  • Feeding every low-rarity hero – keeping a few of each faction makes bounty requirements easier.

The Bounty Board won’t carry your account on its own, but done every day it’s steady free income. It’s one of the first items on our daily routine checklist.
