Sea of Conquest: Pirate War Beginner Guide – Flagship, Crew and First Voyages
Start Sea of Conquest: Pirate War the smart way – upgrading your flagship, recruiting crew, trading, exploring and choosing an alliance.
Sea of Conquest: Pirate WarBeginner Guide Sea of Conquest: Pirate War puts you in command of a pirate fleet in a world of trade, exploration and naval combat. Here’s what to focus on in your first days at sea.
Your flagship comes first
Your flagship is the heart of your fleet. Upgrading and customising it improves your survivability and damage in naval battles. Early priorities:
- Upgrade the flagship’s core parts whenever the main quests unlock them.
- Choose upgrades that match your play style – tankier ships for frontline fights, more firepower if you prefer to strike first.
- Keep your flagship repaired before heading out.
Recruit and focus your crew
Legendary crew members bring skills that shape battles and voyages. Like most strategy games:
- Pick a core crew and invest in them consistently.
- Match crew skills to what you do most – fighting, exploring or gathering.
- Don’t spread upgrade materials across every new recruit.
Trade and explore
Sailing between locations, trading and exploring gives resources and rewards. Combine trips: if you’re sailing somewhere for a quest, check what you can trade or collect along the way.
Your base
Your home base produces resources and unlocks new features. Keep upgrades running continuously, and prioritise buildings required by your main progression.
Alliances
Alliances matter a lot – events, shared rewards and large naval battles all revolve around them. Join an active alliance early and take part in group events, even with a small fleet.
Beginner checklist
| Do | Avoid |
|---|---|
| Claim daily and event rewards | Picking fights with much stronger players |
| Keep builders and production busy | Spreading upgrades too thin |
| Repair before battles | Sailing far from allies early on |
Build a solid flagship, focus your crew and sail with your alliance – that’s the pirate’s path to success.
